THE COMPANY

Vijay Engineering which started in the late sixties was very successful in catering to clients who were looking for import substitutes. To meet the changing needs of its customers, it called for developing newer skills & thereby additions to the product list.

The dearth of good fixture manufacturers in the market led to a demand for quality fixtures, for work-piece holding. Sensing a good potential in this market segment, a new company – Sumax Precision, Tool Room division, was formed in 1979.
